Important: Fore Her Golf Society does collect personal information as described below (for example email and profile data). That is normal for a social app. Apps that collect no personal information may state that clearly instead—this policy matches what our app actually does. We do not use your data for cross-app advertising tracking (App Tracking Transparency).
This Privacy Policy describes how Fore Her Golf Society (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our mobile applications (including the iOS app), related online services, and our marketing website at forehergolfsociety.cc (including waitlist or contact features). Use this page as your Privacy Policy URL in App Store Connect (a live webpage—not a PDF).
Depending on how you use our services, we may collect:
We use the information above to:
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use third-party advertising networks to profile you across other companies’ apps or websites for ads.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing.
We disclose information only in these situations:
Our app is built on Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, and related infrastructure). Google may process technical, security, and limited usage or diagnostic data as part of operating those services, as described in Google’s Privacy Policy. We do not run separate third-party ad or cross-app tracking SDKs for marketing.
If you enable notifications, a device push token may be stored and used with Apple Push Notification service (APNs) on iOS (and equivalent services on other platforms) to deliver alerts. You can turn off notifications anytime in your device settings.
We use trusted third-party services to run the product. They process information on our behalf under contractual safeguards, not for their own marketing.
We use Google services, including Firebase Authentication (sign-in and account security), Cloud Firestore (profiles, social graph, events, chats, feed, and related data), and Firebase Storage (photos and uploads). Google may process identifiers and technical data as part of providing these services.
We use Google Maps Platform APIs (e.g. Places, Geocoding) for location search and related features. Google may process queries, IP address, and related request metadata according to Google’s policies. Where required, attribution such as “Powered by Google” may appear in the app.
If you open a location in the Google Maps app or browser, that action is between you and Google; it does not use our Maps API key for that step.
When you submit a URL to generate a link or product preview, our Google Cloud Functions backend retrieves that page to extract metadata (for example title and image). Depending on the site, we may use direct requests, server-side parsing, automated browser rendering (e.g. headless Chromium via Puppeteer on our cloud infrastructure), and/or the third-party service Scrappey (scrappey.com), which fetches the URL from its own network to return page content to us.
What is shared: Primarily the URL you entered, plus standard technical data those services may log (for example IP addresses or request metadata) as described in their respective policies. We use previews to display content in the app; preview results may be cached in our database (e.g. Firestore) to improve performance. Avoid submitting URLs that contain sensitive or personal information in the query string if you do not want those strings sent to our backend or subprocessors.
Scrappey’s practices are governed by its own documentation and privacy terms; review them on Scrappey’s website if you use features that rely on link previews.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Our services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
We operate from the United States. If you access the service from elsewhere, your information may be processed in the U.S. or other countries where our providers operate. Those countries may have different data protection rules than your own.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email above. We will respond consistent with applicable law.
If the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) applies, you may have additional rights (e.g. to know, delete, and opt out of “sale” or “sharing” as defined by law). We do not sell personal information in the conventional sense. For requests, email us with “California Privacy Request” in the subject line.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice (e.g. in-app or by email).
